Yes, all of our range is suitable for puppies and kittens as well as adults too. We do a special puppy and kitten lamb mince that is for those wee ones that have just started on solids and require their food to be minced a little finer to help them digest it easier. Yet as your fur baby grows and it becomes used to eating a wholesome meat diet any of our range would be ok as it has the best complete content as well as the small bone fragments which are both essential for sustaining healthy bodies.
All of our ingredients are Human Grade which means they are the same meats and foods we eat in our own diet. Our producers and suppliers are the same companies that supply most of the restaurant, supermarkets and home foods market. Our Beef is 100% Australian. Our Beef offal is all 100% Australian beef and is Human Grade quality. Our Australian Kangaroo is 100% Human Grade Quality Our Vegetables are human grade and are locally sourced and produced in South Australia Our human grade chicken is from South Australian producers and are hormone and caged free. None of our foods contain any preservatives (natural or otherwise), additives, chemicals or sulphur dioxide. All of our meat and meat products are purchased from major accredited suppliers. All of our vegetables are from major reputable South Australian producers.
As a general rule, pets should be eating approximately 2-3% of their body weight daily. As a general rule of thumb a guide of 250grams per 10kg of bodyweight is used. This will vary depending on the dogs energy and activity levels. If your pet is overweight and needing to lose a few kgs, feed them closer to 2% of their body weight and give them more exercise. If your pet is underweight, closer to 3% should be fed. We recommend feeding your dog their required amount over 2 meals per day as this is better for their digestion (and helps to avoid bloat in larger breeds) as well as it stops them scouring all day looking for food. The biggest difference you will find with our range of human grade pet food is your pet feels fuller for longer. The food we provide is real food, unlike a lot highly processed products in the market full of fillers/ additives that your pet will pass very quickly, they will actually digest our food, absorb all the nutrients from it, before passing a small amount. You will notice how much you have to pick up each time will be considerably less, which is not a bad thing!
Feeding puppies from 8 weeks is the best start in life you can give them. 1 year to 1.5 years 3% of their body weight. 1.5 year + 2-3% of their body weight depending on exercise
Dogs aka (Canis familiaris when considered a distinct species or Canis lupus familiaris when considered a subspecies of the wolf) is a domesticated carnivore of the family Canidae and their DNA differs by only 0.2%. Although some dogs look different to wolves, their biological chemistry is almost identical. If we look at a wolf’s diet, it consists of other animals and small amount of vegetation which is often consumed through the stomach of the prey the wolf has caught. If wolves are naturally eating fresh meats - organs and small amounts of vegetables, then why are we feeding our dogs highly processed foods containing high amounts of carbohydrate, fillers, additives and preservatives as you would find in dry food? It is a widespread belief that a raw food diet is best for canines and felines as it contains 100% natural foods! - no fillers, preservatives, synthetic vitamins or minerals are used. We encourage feeding the food raw also as its in its best state for dogs and cats to absorb the essential nutrients contained in the food. When foods are cooked through the heating process often cooks out the essential vitamins and minerals contained in the food, which is why its best to serve raw.
Biologically Appropriate Raw Food. This is a common term you will see when talking about raw food diets for pets. This model of feeding is reflected in the prey model of food a wild animal might eat as outlined above. Mostly meat some organ meat and some fruit/vegetables.
We put up to 10% offal in some our recipes (each meal will outline if it has offal/organ meat or not) as offal or organ meat is high in nutrients, vitamins and minerals that are essential to your pets completed and balanced diet.
Our poultry and fish mince blends have a 10% bone/cartilage ratio within it. Our roo, lamb and beef minces do not have bone mixed through. If only feeding roo, lamb or beef meals we suggest you select some bones from our bone menu that can be fed over the week. This would also help with keeping your pets teeth clean and gums healthy too.

Following our belief in fresh is best! We can promise zero preservatives, sulphur dioxide or salts in our products, thus giving our products far shorter shelf life. We recommend the food is split if needed and placed in the freezer on the day of delivery. Thaw in the fridge and use within 24 hours of thawing to ensure optimal freshness and quality is maintained. The recommended ‘use by’ date is 3 months. Although it might last longer frozen, we strongly recommend consumption within three months. Once thawed, it should not be re-frozen.
If this is the case for your pooch we recommend you buy the weight range below (unless he/she is extremely active every day), eg your pooch weighs 25kg, buy the 20kg option then just purchase a kilo or 2 of RMB (raw meaty bones) eg chicken necks, cages, brisket bones etc and give 1 of these each morning as breakfast
We feel that Friday PM or Saturday AM is the most optimum day for people being at home to receive their delivery in person. As we are a South Australian family owned and run business we like the personal touch that it provides us when we see our customers regularly each week. Other options could be discussed if Saturday does not fit your schedule.

No not at all. Our food is all 100% preservative and additive free. No added fluid. No fillers. No sulphur dioxide in the meats either. ALL our products have never been frozen and are all in date human consumption grade meat.
This can sometimes happen and the usual reason is they are being over fed. Sometimes their recommended portion size seems quite small in comparison to what you have been feeding them of commercial dry/mush foods from the mainstream brands the supermarkets stock. You must remember that this is REAL food that their body uses more of, therefore takes longer to burn off. Try lessening their portion sizes. We recommend adding som olive oil or coconut oil to release more scent or even miss a meal. Dogs are designed to overeat from time to time. This in turn allows them to starve too. After missing a meal they will usually not miss a second one! Some ‘fussy’ eaters can sometimes be tempted by adding sardines are also a great addition to releasing more scent in the food to get fussy dogs onto the food. Most importantly be confident when feeding! If your nervous or anxious your pet is very likely to pick this up and think, "what is wrong with this food!?" Be confident when serving, place the bowl down and give your pet space to eat. Try not to leave food down all day as you may have done with dry food previously. If you dog walks away call them back and present the food one more time. If they do not take to it a second time, cover the food and refrigerate it until next meal time, maybe adding fish or oil for extra temptation. If your pet doesn’t eat successively over a couple of days and this is not normal behaviour, please seek a professional vet’s opinion ASAP.
As the food is raw it naturally contains moisture which hydrates your dog when they consume the food. You will notice from feeding kibble a big difference in the amount of water they consume. This is due to the kibble being dry and moisture free, with salt and unnatural additives in the food they will often have a very high thirst when feed a kibble diet compared a complete and balanced raw diet.
